Originally from Northern Ontario, Daina has called Nova Scotia home since 1994 when she moved to the east coast to attend the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. As a professional artist and entrepreneur, she expresses her passion for coastal life and wanderlust through different mediums, mainly oil painting, encaustic (beeswax and pigment) painting, watercolour sketches, and map collages.
