Anthony Jacobus is a self-taught photographer and native of Fort Worth, Texas. From a young age he fostered an appreciation for old and worn things having grown up in the historical home of his great-grandparents. Theater and the arts were also emphasized early in his life, evident in the dramatic flair his photographs posses. Until recently his photography was all shot in 35mm black and white using natural and available light. Currently he has evolved his vision with digital, while remaining faithful to the qualities of his previous work using film. Serving as stylist, costumer and director in his work make each photo like a small production. He has been making photographs for over fifteen years and continues to seek out new ways to re-invent his work.

MadHatterPhotography.com
