Gene is an award winning film director, former producer, and owner of production company Cupsogue Pictures. In 2006, he executive produced Nick Love's Outlaw followed by 8ight Limbs (2008) and Monkeyshine (2008). In 2010 he associate-produced The Last Seven (2010) starring Danny Dyer, and executive produced Three (2010), Yoghurt (2010) & Ari (2010). In 2011 Gene directed Superman: Requiem (2011) & produced thriller Airborne (2012) starring Mark Hamill.
