My whole extended family is from Nfld, but I grew up in New Brunswick, went to school in Nova Scotia and then moved out here to the BC Coast. I love food, the outdoors (hiking, kayaking, swimming, etc.). I cook on a beautiful boat - the Columbia III, I coordinate the Vancouver Island and Coastal Communities Indigenous Foods Network and run a small Cookery - Taku Cookery on Quadra Island. I am passionate about food and relationships and the ties between those two things.
