Omar Elhamy is a director and editor currently working in Montreal, Canada. In 2012, he co-founded the short film festival EcransMed - Screenings from the Mediterranean. After gaining valuable industry experience, working as assistant director, editor, and actor in Egypt, Omar is currently focusing on his own work where he is interested in experimental methodologies and collaborative practices.
