Megan Sipe / Dancing Fish Productions
<p>Megan Sipe is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher. She makes dances and performs with her company, Dancing Fish Productions. Megan’s emphasis is on creating performance experiences to feed the senses. A curiosity of the body, the joy of dancing, and the art of moving with others, fuel her work. </p> <p> </p> <p>Dancing Fish Productions has performed in a variety of venues in New York City, including Saint Marks Church, West End Theater, Galapagos Arts Space, Webster Hall, The Parkside Lounge, DROM, Dixon Place, FAR Space, HT Chen Dance Center, The Howl Festival, The Player’s House Theater, and Bleecker Street Theater. Megan has collaborated extensively with The International Street Cannibals music ensemble, a group of classical/modern musicians and composers. Megan also creates short films with filmmaker Sasha Santiago which experiment with both dance and non-dance ideas in unusual and unique spaces.</p> <p> </p> <p>Megan has worked with and been mentored by Neta Pulvermacker, Ann and Alexx Make Dances, Alan Good, Sahar Javedani, ShaLeigh Commerford and SOMA physical theater company.
