I started my career at CNN’s New York bureau, before moving to Kenya, and later Los Angeles. I have filmed in and reported from more than 15 countries on 3 continents for Reuters TV, Agence France Presse TV, the BBC World Service, and many others. My journalism work across Africa got me nominated for various awards, and I received a UNCA Gold medal for Best Broadcast for a series of stories on the conflict in Darfur. I am also the executive producer of Africa’s first political satire program featuring latex puppets, the XYZ Show.
