Born and raised in Japan, my parents embedded their wish in the characters of my name: Miho 民穂. They hoped I would become a protector of people, culture and the environment. In addition, my birthdate is the day that US Congress officially recognized as Women’s Equality Day. I aspire to live a life that honors my name and birthdate, which led me to create an environmental/women empowerment media project.
