I am a Ugandan born British citizen and I believe that one person can be the voice of thousands.
After working with Amnesty International in my teens, I decided I wanted to become a human rights lawyer. After years studying really hard and obtaining my legal qualification, I ended up in finance. It was when me and my husband visited Uganda in December 2013 that I rediscovered my passion for human rights and children. This campaign is very close to my heart as both my husband and I have first hand experience of how child soldiers can be affected by mental health and war trauma.
