I spent 5 weeks in the Democratic Republic of Congo working with Neema & the Maman Shujaa Hero Women, a group of grassroots leaders. My life was forever changed as I witnessed the hope & love radiating from these courageous people living under circumstances we can barely comprehend. Neema & I co-founded Hero Women Rising, a non-profit dedicated to the liberation, strengthening, and empowerment of women the world over. I am honored to assist Neema as she changes the paradigm!
