<p><strong>Satarra Alayia is an eighteen year old singer, songwriter and bassist. She has attended the Juilliard Summer Jazz Residency for the past three years and has travelled to numerous locations such as New York, Washington DC, and Utah studying jazz music. This past summer Satarra attended Grammy Camp LA, a highly competitive music program that focuses on performance and the ins and outs of the music industry!</strong><strong>&nbsp;Satarra has performed at numerous venues including the National Democratic Convention, Grammy Camp Showcase and KTLA morning show in Los Angeles California. Satarra has had the honor of being featured in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Tastemaker Magazine Atlanta, and the Grammy Camp Blog. She volunteers at Safehouse Outreach in downtown Atlanta during the winter break feeding the homeless and cleaning the homeless shelters. Satarra spent January through March of 2011 as a foreign exchange student in Quito, Ecuador, an honor she received due to her mastery of the Spanish language. Satarra is currently working on recording a four song EP, and has been accepted and awarded merit based scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in the fall of 2012.</strong></p>
