Stop Motion Animation Artist

Words aren't really Chris' thing. When people ask what he does, he shrugs and answers, "I play with dolls." But stop motion animation is so much more to him than that. It's a way to give spirit to inanimate objects, to bring to life his dreams and ideas and the creatures of his imagination. He sees a human understanding and emotional richness in the characters that live action filmmaking just can't compare with.

Chris wasn't a rich guy doing this before the burglary. But with each project, he got to see his dream become that much closer to becoming more than just an artists' vision--it became his livelihood. The burglars may have taken away every last bit of equipment he once used (and more) but they can't take that dream, that vision, and that ability to connect with other humans through animated puppets and stories.
