Hope is a hell of a drug

In 2009 I stumbled into the world of LouderArts and slam not really knowing what I was getting into. At that time I was using cocaine pretty frequently and was a mess but for some reason LouderArts and the slam community opened their arms up to me. They saw someone who was worth nurturing and saving. They made me see that too. Now I don't want to be that person to say it saved my life but it certainly enhanced it and showed me the power of hope. Something I had forgotten about along the way.
