Meghan Lindsay was a young artist with the Glimmerglass Festival and with Opera Studio Nederland, where where she made her international debut as Euredice in Pierre Audi’s production of Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo and her Concertgebouw debut performing excerpts from Don Giovanni and Le Nozze di Figaro. I have performed in The Netherlands, France, Belgium, China, Estonia, the United States, Israel, and have established a flourishing career in my native country by working frequently with Opera Atelier. Just this summer, I performed Lully's Armide in the Royal Opera House of the Palace of Versailles- an experience matched only by being able to reprise the piece at the acclaimed Glimmerglass Festival.

What I believe sets me apart from other performers is my commitment to the future generation of musicians, in addition to the future of my own career. Along with teaching young musicians, I present outreach programs with the companies for whom I work. Last year, I taught over 400 kids from the Toronto public school system about what goes into the making of an opera. This year, I will spend the holiday season participating in music workshops for Toronto families. I love my job! I love it so much, in fact, that I believe everyone has the RIGHT to the mind-opening, enriching advantages of music education.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR BELIEF IN THE POWER OF MUSIC!
