Sins Invalid is a disability justice performance project on disability and sexuality founded in 2006

Patty Berne is the organizational and artistic director of Sins Invalid. Berne's social justice background supporting resistance to US colonial projects and supporting women of color led projects as well as her therapeutic work with survivors of both state and interpersonal violence grounds her artistic work centering marginalized voices, particularly those of disabled people of color and queer / gender non-conforming people with disabilities.
