I am married to the love of my life. We are high school sweet hearts, and have been together for 25 years. We had Ashley, well technically 12 days after I turned 18 we had her. We knew we were in love but thinking about it, it's like "WOW!" All odds were against us not a lot of people thought we would make it the first few years let alone 25 years. Well here we are, still together happy and now have our son, Sonny and two beautiful granddaughters.

Ashley was the first and only grandchild for a long time. She is the apple of Papa’s eye and spoiled by ALL. Rachel (auntie & #1 fan) was just going in to high school when Ashley was born. Ashley was Rachel’s little mini - me. Since the day Ashley was born she has looked like Rachel. Rachel's high school made Ashley the mascot of the front banner squad. Ashley had her own little banner that Rachel made, her own little uniform. It was great.

Our Ashley is a wonderful beautiful soul, and all she's ever wanted is her family living in a nice neighborhood with a white picket fence around her yard and her dog playing with her kids. Her hope for that now is slim to none. We just hope this chemo treatment works so we can watch Ashley and her husband (Margarito) raise their two little miracle babies. The more we learn about Lupus the more thankful we are to the man upstairs for letting us have them.

I thank you for taking the time to read our story and hope that if you can't contribute you will spread the word about our Ashley.
