Making TMTC's 2nd Mainstage a reality
<p>DEADRIA HARRINGTON is a multifaceted theater artist based in New York City. Starting as an intern in the summer of 2010 she has worked her way up and become a member of the Producing Artistic Leadership Team of The Movement Theatre Company [TMTC]. With TMTC she has served as a Producer developing a number of new works by emerging artists of color, most recently <em>look upon our lowliness</em> by Harrison David Rivers, slated to be produced in February 2013. Deadria is also the lead producer on TMTC’s eco friendly theatre initiative GO GREEN, where she served as a director as well. Harrington has also worked as an Assistant Director on the workshop production of Talaya Delaney’s <em>Haarlem Berlin</em> and directed/performed in an all Black Female ensemble production of <em>WOMBmanWARs, </em>both at Vassar. A recent graduate of Vassar College she performed as an actor in <em>The Serpent</em>, <em>Macbeth</em>, <em>Abanthis</em>, and <em>One Flea Spare</em>. While in New York Deadria has performed as an actor in TMTC’s <em>Wilson Revised </em>at The Studio Museum in Harlem and in a reading of Keith Josef Adkins’ <em>Safe House </em>at La MaMa.</p>
