Composer and Clarinetist living in Forest Hills, NY
William Wheeler is a composer and clarinetist whose compositions speak in a very personal, emotional language. He is strongly influenced by such composers as Gustav Holst, Vaughan Williams, and Arthur Honegger. As founder and director of the new music series, Musical Amoeba, he presents several full length concerts a year, inviting established groups and creating new ensembles to present a variety of music. He holds degrees from Berklee School of Music and Queens College (CUNY).
