<p><span style="font-family: Helvetica; color: gray;">I am a choreographer, performer, movement educator and co/artistic director of <em>bobbevy</em></span><span style="font-family: Helvetica; color: gray;">.<span>&nbsp; </span>Choreography is the means to which I create worlds that involve layers of kinesthetic, visual and aural textures.<span>&nbsp; </span>My dances aim to create presence, magic and feeling to seemingly ordinary tasks and situations. I am interested in clear subtleties of movement and the intention behind the physically expressive body to tell a story.&nbsp; I continue to evolve a style of dance that is rich in imagery with movement that is detailed and precise yet taut and fluid.<span>&nbsp; </span>My creation process involves research with collaborators and contributors from diverse backgrounds as well as highly physical improvisations. Gestural movements, spiraling torsos, visuals, relationships and stories developed in a project all serve to create cohesive contemporary contemplations that serve the larger context of the work.</span></p>
