Sylvan Oswald creates plays, texts, publications, and video. Plays includes Sex Play (Clubbed Thumb/Playwrights Horizons Superlab), Nightlands (New Georges), Pony (About Face Theatre, Chicago), Profanity (Undermain, Dallas), and Vendetta Chrome (Clubbed Thumb). He recently began exploring video and created the web series Outtakes. Honors include the Dorothy Strelsin Playwriting Fellowship from Soho Rep. Originally from Philadelphia, Sylvan is a resident playwright at New Dramatists.
