At long last ...

Looking back, it seems only natural that I would become a photographer. I was constantly viewing the world through a lens as I grew up, yet somehow it took me thirty years to realize it was what I wanted to do as a career. I dabbled in other fields of the arts over the years - I acted on many a stage, recorded music, began writing several books, and so on, but it is only photography that has sustained my passion through it all. I am so thrilled that I came to the realization that it could be my life's pursuit and that that realization led me to enroll at AAU. I have a great love of narrative portraiture and find that my most fulfilling work has been images that depict a moment of a (real or imagined) story in someone's life. I would love to be able to make a living shooting images of people and hopefully to combine my artistic passion with my undergraduate education degree to help others explore and develop their passion as well.
