Dorothy James is a Brooklyn-based puppeteer who has performed Off-Broadway in the NYTimes Critics’ Pick Made In China (Wakka Wakka, 59E59) and at Radio City in The NY Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes (dir. Mia Michaels). She also appeared in the world premiere of the new musical Snow Child (Arena Stage, dir. Molly Smith). Specializing in devised puppet theater, Dorothy has developed work at St. Ann’s Warehouse, The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, and FigurTeateret in Norway.
