The Film-Maker’s Cooperative (FMC/NACG) is the first artist-run organization devoted to the dissemination of moving image art. Our goals since the founding of the FMC/NACG in 1961 have been to encourage the development of a cinema that reflects the highest ethical and aesthetic standards, to combat all forms of film censorship and licensing, and all forms of interference in the making of motion pictures.
