Scott Petersen is an editor and award-winning documentary filmmaker. His first film, "Out of the Loop" focused on the Chicago rock music scene. "Scrabylon" delved deep into the cutthroat world of tournament Scrabble. "The Renaissance of Mata Ortiz" told the story of how an American adventurer and a brilliant self-taught Mexican artist transformed a dying desert into a home for world-class art and won an Emmy. He lives in Southern California.
