RELApSE is a psychological horror film which explores two contrasting attitudes towards addiction: those who believe it can be attributed to a personality trait triggered by social and emotional factors; others believing addiction is the result of possession by evil spirits. The film uses these two paradigms as the basis for a story which explores how far a person will go to rid themselves of the demons that once controlled them… and perhaps still do.
