"Design like you give a damn"
My name is Jake Rudin. I'm an architecture student at Cornell University, but I am also involved in a number of programs related to education and sustainability. I am a member of Cornell University Sustainable Design [CUSD], an interdisciplinary student-led program that seeks to promote a greater sense of social responsibility in design through our current project: Schoolhouse South Africa. I am also a tree climbing and backcountry photography instructor for Cornell Outdoor Education. <div><br></div><div>I love traveling and have traveled to Africa, Europe, the Caribbean, Central America, South America, and much of North America. I believe that the creation of a global culture and the sharing of tradition brings people together in a very powerful way. Helping others when they ask for it is a noble cause and I am glad to be a part of organizations that recognize that cause.</div>
