Kohl V. Bladen was born and raised in Los Angeles, California; where he grew up in the film industry going to work with his Father. It wasn't until film school, when he gained his interest in the horror/thriller genres. His professor compared his work to that of John Carpenter (horror) and Alfred Hitchcock (suspense). After graduating from college, Kohl moved back to Los Angeles, where he has begun to make his name in the horror community; hoping to change the face of this now suffering genre.
