I own and operate the independent yarn shop Midwest Yarn. I have been a knitter and crocheter since age 7 or 8. I design, dye yarn, spin, knit, crochet, and run a yarn shop while caring for my two boys, age 5 and 3 months. I am a published designer and have recently been published in one of Knit Picks' summer 2014 collections. I enjoy singing in my spare time, with what little spare time I can have with my own business, but I love everything I do and wouldn't change my life for anything!
