I founded the free outdoor Festival - "Dance on the Lawn" to celebrate dance in New Jersey and have launched this campaign to pay the artist!

I am a performer, historian, consultant and dance writer. I am also a faculty member at Hunter College, Kean University and Empire State College's online program Center for Distance Learning. I am a former faculty member of The Ailey School and the Alvin Ailey/Fordham University dance major program and The Joffrey Ballet School's Jazz and Contemporary Trainee Program. I hold a Ph.D. from Howard University, a Masters from CUNY and a BFA from MSU.
