I was born in Norfolk, Virginia but moved around a lot growing up. I grew up skateboarding and taking pictures of it, but when college time came I majored in English because I was really excited about Poetry and writing a lot of it. My photography continued to grow in isolation from the university dynamic which I was ultimately appreciative of. I received my BA from JMU and my Masters from UNCP. I taught middle school for 2 years before returning to bar tending. I have 2 almost 3 wonderful kids.
