<p>Carlton Warner was born on July, 1978 at K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base Sands Michigan to Carlton R. Warner II and JoAnne Burgoyne. Carlton obtained his General Education Diploma from Daytona Beach Community College in Daytona Beach Florida on June 12, 1998. </p> <p> Carlton Warner began his military service on June 26, 1997 with the Michigan National Guard, where he was assigned to the 1460<sup>th</sup> Transportation Company in Midland Michigan. In July of 1998, Carlton Warner attended Basic Combat Training at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina and completed Advanced Individual Training at Ft. Lenoradwood, Missouri. One year later he transferred to the Florida National Guard where he was assigned to Alpha Company 53<sup>rd</sup> Infantry Brigade in Clearwater Florida, and was then transferred to 2/124<sup>th</sup> Infantry Company in Orlando Florida. Carlton Warner entered active duty on August of 1999 where he was assigned to the 513<sup>th</sup> Transportation Company 44 Corps Support Battalion (CSG) in Ft. Lewis Washington. On December 11<sup>th</sup>, Carlton Warner was then assigned to the 46<sup>th</sup> Transportation Company 498<sup>th</sup> Brigade Support Battalion (BSB) Camp Humphreys, Korea. Upon return from Korea, he was then assigned to Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, where he was assigned to the 494<sup>th</sup> Transportation Company 129<sup>th</sup> CSB, 101<sup>st</sup> CSG. While with the 494<sup>th</sup> TC, Carlton Warner was attended the Primary Leadership Development Course, shortly upon graduation, Carlton Was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, and then deployed to Southwest Asia (SWA) in support of the Operation Enduring Freedom, and attached to the 561<sup>st</sup> CSB. On March 23<sup>rd</sup>, Carlton Warner was on the Ground Assault Convoy (GAC) transporting Infantry Troops from 187<sup>th</sup> Infantry, 101<sup>st</sup> Airborne Division Assault, which was the beginning of major combat operations in Operations Iraqi Freedom I(OIF I) The 494<sup>th</sup> Transportation Company redeployed back to Ft. Campbell, Kentucky on February 16<sup>th</sup> 2004 and realigned with 129<sup>th</sup> CSB 101<sup>st</sup> CSG. The 101<sup>st</sup> CSG later deactivated and the 494<sup>th</sup> 129<sup>th</sup> CSB Transportation Company became part of the 101<sup>st</sup> Airborne Division AASLT. Carlton Warner was again deployed to SWA in December of 2004 in support of the OIF 3. There Carlton Warner was selected above his peers for his exceptional leadership abilities both as a transporter and as a trainer to serve as a Military Instructor Transition Team advisor training soldiers of the New Iraqi Army for the 4<sup>th</sup> Transportation Company 3<sup>rd</sup> Motorized Transportation Regiment where he trained over 100 Iraqi Soldiers on 40 Warrior tasks, 11 battle drills and helped establish an Noncommissioned Officer Corps within the company. In early-2006 Carlton attended The Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course Phase 1, after that he was then assigned to the 541<sup>st</sup> Transportation Company at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, where he then did a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) to the 515<sup>th</sup> Transportation Company, 28<sup>th</sup> Transportation Battalion in Mannheim, Germany and was deployed to Iraq for his 3<sup>rd</sup> tour to Camp Taji, Iraq on July 22<sup>nd</sup> 2007, and in September, 2007 he was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant. On July 23, 2008 Carlton Warner was reassigned to the 109<sup>th</sup> Transportation Company in Mannheim, Germany where he served outside his Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), as an Information Management Officer and communications NCOIC in charge of personnel and equipment in excess of $6,000,000. May 28<sup>th</sup>, 2009, Carlton Warner was assigned to the 125<sup>th</sup> BSB 3/1 Armor Division Ft. Bliss, Texas, where he served as a Personnel Supervisor, and Master Driver Trainer until his Honorable Discharge from service due to a service connected disability in January of 2011. Total driving experience during 12 years of Service to his Nation Carlton has accumulated over 500,000 accident and incident free miles both on national and international highways driving various types of equipment maintained in the Defense of our great Country. Carlton also has 8 years’ experience in personnel supervision, management, training, and professional development of personnel.</p> <p> Carlton Warner is a graduate of the Primary Leadership Development Course and Basic Non-Commissioned Offers Course Phase I. He has completed the Total Army Mobile Retention Course, Combat Lifesavers Course, Master Drivers Course and has earned 60 college credit hours towards a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration with a 2.95 GPA, Holds a current Commercial Driver’s License (KY).</p> <p> Carlton Warner’s awards and decorations include Army Commendation Medal (1 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (5OLC,) Good Conduct Medal (3KNT) Meritorious Unit Citation, National Defense Service Medal, Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (5) and Drivers Badge (Wheeled). Carlton Warner was Noncommissioned Officer (NCO) of the month while with the 561<sup>st</sup> CSB in October of 2003 and with 129<sup>th</sup> CSB in April 2004. Carlton Warner has four certificates of Achievement. Carlton Warner is a proud member of the Disabled American Veterans.</p> <p>Carlton Warner is married to Laura Marie Diegel and has three children, Christopher, Hailee and Jason. His short term goal is to make his small business operational. Long term goals include expanding his business to hire more qualified personnel to continue to service America’s transportation logistical needs.</p>
