<p>Jaye Bird Productions is a family-owned film production company founded in 2008 by Cassie Jaye along with her mother, Nena Jaye, and sister, Christina Clack. As a proven team, they are known for their fearless yet sensitive approach to highly polemic topics while maintaining a balanced hand.</p> <p>With Cassie Jaye at the helm of her directorial debut, Jaye Bird Productions’ first film, Daddy I Do garnered much attention nationally achieving 6 festival awards including Best Documentary at Cannes Independent Film Festival 2010.</p> <p>Their second feature, The Right to Love: An American Family, premiered in February 2012 at the historic Castro Theater in San Francisco, California. Cassie Jaye, along with her sister and mother, worked intensely on this project for three years, and also partnered with award-winning film producers Ford Austin and Marc Wasserman to complete this project. With no direct association with the LGBTQ community, they wanted to bring the “straight perspective” with Gay Family Values under the flag of civil rights.</p>
