I founded ConnectingAuthors in 2005, at the request both of schools who wanted authors and authors who wanted to connect more with students. We have over 80 authors in our stable, many of whom are bilingual and/or write multicultural books. My own first book, ABC BABY ME, debuted to rave reviews. My second book, MY MAMA EARTH, won the Moonbeam Gold Award for Best Picture Book of 2012. I have two books due out with Scholastic. I love seeing the impact our authors have on at-risk students.
