Izabella Demavlys

Izabella Demavlys was born in Sweden and studied photography at RMIT in Melbourne, Australia, as well as Parsons School of Design in New York. After focusing on fashion photography she decided to travel to Pakistan in late 2009 to pursue documentary work about women who had suffered brutal acid attacks. Her recent work in the documentary film “Eternal Flame” continues to explore the lives of women after an acid attack.
