John and I are radio producers and hosts of Art of the Song Creativity Radio based in Albuquerque, NM. I have been working in theater and broadcast media for most of my adult life, yet am now focusing deeply into identifying the mission of my work. I have always struggled between the desire to do work involved in service to others, and an art committed life as an actor. I am now understanding that they can exist together. <br><br>As a woman in my 50's I am redefining success as what makes me happy and fulfilled. To that end I devote my time working as a producer and host of a syndicated broadcast radio program Art of the Song Creativity Radio. <br><br>Our mission is to repair this crisis of perception through the real exploration of Creativity by talking with people who have made successful, sustainable careers as singer songwriters and in other creative professions. Through in depth conversations we identify concepts and skills that can be transferred to everyday life. We make these conversations available to over 200,000 people per week by providing programming free of charge to stations in the public radio system, accessible online content, printed materials, live events, and educational opportunities.<br><br>Art of the Song looks for the real meaning of Creativity by searching deeply into the life stories and experiences of artists, inspiring listeners to recognize their own unique gifts as tools that turn this perceived crisis into opportunity.<br>
