A neurobiologist before earning my MD at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, I continued training at JHU in medicine, neurology, and psychiatry. After being faculty at Harvard Medical School, I joined a think tank on human consciousness at the Salk Institute with several world-renown neuroscientists. My first book, The ESP Enigma: A Scientific Case for Psychic Phenomena, has been translated into several languages and provides the foundation for understanding my current work.
