<h3><em><strong><em><strong><span style="font-family: Garamond; font-size: large;">Living in the Inner-city neighborhoods of Detroit and being victim to the drugs, prostitution,&nbsp; vacancy of homes, illiteracy, unemployment, gun violence and more, I felt it a priority to be apart of an organization that counters these same ills mentioned above. </span></strong></em></strong></em></h3> <h3><em><strong><em><strong><span style="font-family: Garamond; font-size: large;">My name is <span>Sameerah Saadiq</span>, I'm a wife, mother, an English teacher (of five years) and a committed community organizer.&nbsp; After learning and falling in-love with the mission of Al- <span class="squiggly" title="To see spelling suggestions, click this word">Aqabah,</span> I wanted to help them, help others by raising funds to secure the building of its current location. I then joined the Sister's Organization and on behalf of them, we wish to raisefunds for our Community Center.</span></strong></em></strong></em></h3> <h3><em><strong><em><strong><span style="font-family: Garamond; font-size: large;">Al-<span class="squiggly" title="To see spelling suggestions, click this word">Aqabah</span> is a prayer/community center that helps many families on a daily bases. Its programs which includes God Consciousness, Healthy families, Reentry, Safe Communities, Education and Economic Empowerment are improving the lives of men, women and children daily. </span></strong></em></strong></em></h3>
