<b>Eric M. B. Becker</b> is a writer, translator, and award-winning journalist. He received a 2014 PEN/Heim Translation Fund Grant for his translation of a short story collection by Mozambican writer and 2014 Neustadt winner Mia Couto. He has recently published translations of Brazilian writers Edival Lourenço, Eric Nepomuceno, and Carlos Drummond de Andrade in <I>The Massachusetts Review</i>, <i>MobyLives</i>, and others. In 2014, he was resident writer at the Louis Armstrong House Museum.
