Steve Johns, Jazz drummer was born and raised in a musical family in Boston, MA and attended The New England Conservatory of Music. Since moving to New York City, Steve has established himself as one of the top Jazz drummers of his generation. He has worked and recorded with the “who’s who” of jazz including; Randy Brecker, Sonny Fortune, The Billy Taylor Trio, Count Basie Orchestra, Benny Carter, Jimmy Heath, Nat Adderley, Jimmy Owens, Larry Coryell, Gary Bartz and Lou Donaldson.
