<p>"I express myself best by being true to myself."</p> <p> C. Mikki was born and raised in Louisiana, where she participated in music, theatre and drama. At an early age, she developed a love for writing and film. In 2010, C. Mikki released her first novel, "Men and Sex - Power, Pleasure, Pain." She learned the art and craft of self-publishing at the Black Writers Reunion & Conference. She has written for various online magazined in advice columns giving advice on relationships and sex. A motivational speaker, she enjoys mentoring and coaching other writers to achieve thier greatest potiential.</p> <p> With a career in recruiting, C.Mikki balances her writing career with her professional career by dedicating her time to her craft. "If you really want to do it, you will find the time. Time is never an excuse."</p> <p> C. Mikki is currently working on a documentary film, "Black and Write."
