I'm a big film fan with a passion to help more great Canadian films find their audience. I started my film career as an actor, then became a filmmaker (well, I made one short film), then I worked as a Development Officer for a local production company, and now (drum roll) I'm the founder and Executive Director of First Weekend Club, a national, non-profit organization that is dedicated to building audiences for Canadian film. I feel like I found my calling when I started First Weekend Club. Not only does it give me a sense of purpose, but I love what I do and the people I work with - my team, my Board of Directors, and the filmmakers with films we help to promote. <br><br>Outside of First Weekend Club, I'm a wife, a mother of two (Danielle who is 13 and Brennan who is 10), a soccer player and an occasional yoga participant. I also love reading books that were written for teen girls. Yes, I'm a "Twilight" fan.<br>
