Composer, pianist, arranger, conductor, teacher, husband, father, gelato fan
I grew up in New York and Munich. I began piano at age 4 and composing at 10. I started playing silent films for fun while studying composition at the U. of Michigan, and after moving to Manhattan in 1973, began playing at MoMA. Since then I've played around the world— Seattle, San Francisco, Bologna, Pordenone, Moscow, Shanghai. South Korea—often with my wife, singer Joanna Seaton. I've recorded many scores for DVD and TV, and written music for theater, dance and kids songs. I love my work!
