About the director
<p>I am a recent graduate of Mount Holyoke College and a Maine resident, passionate about theater. I have been acting since the age of 6 - my first role was a spider in a rock band - and have been directing since 8th grade. I directed a week-long summer theater camp on my back porch for 8 years before moving on to other projects. I also directed various shows in high school and college. Shortly after graduating and moving back to my home state of Maine, I founded the Young Adult Actors of Maine, a theater group for people ages 18-30. So far, the Young Adult Actors of Maine or "YAAMs" have put one other show, "YAAMs in Love," a Valentines Day show with one-acts, songs, and poems all about love in its various forms. I am very excited to be directing (and performing in) a show that will be performed in Deering Oaks Park, thus fulfilling a dream that I've had for years. There's really nothing more exciting than watching your dreams take form and gradually turn into a reality!</p>
