Saving My Business One Day at a Time

I love the arts, the beach, my animal family, my Husband and Son, My Stepdaughter and Mother in Law (she is too cool). Not in that order :) I have had rough times in my life but always manage to get through them one way or another. I keep to the lesson Pay it Forward. Much of the time you don't see the result right away but if you know you did something for the right reason and for the right person or cause, then I want to know you. My Hubby and I have had a decent 5+ years together, so far! We were lucky enough to do some travelling and spend time with family and friends. A couple of glitches happened along the way. Hubbies corporate job was killing him so I encouraged him to go into business for himself. It seemed like an amazing opportunity but the owner of the distribution center screwed him out of a major opportunity. Until a month ago, he had a hard time finding a job in his field, but he finally landed a job where he feels "Home". I had a bookkeeping biz for almost 20 years. I sold it and started an Arts Studio for children. Parents and children alike love us. We know what we are doing but after just wrapping up our first year and learning many lessons, we have changed the program and are struggling a bit. We are attempting to do a loan mod on the house but who knows how long that will take or even if we will get accepted. We are just making it with help from our parents (which blows). I have always been independent and now am relying on others to get us through and it is hard to ask for so much help.
