Alex Simmons is an Emmy-nominated director and a recipient of Overseas Press Club and Prism awards. Alex recently finished shooting his first narrative feature film, starring David Giuntoli and Flula Borg. Previously Alex directed "Borderland," Al Jazeera America's first original series on undocumented immigration and National Geographic's "Inside: Secret America," starring Mariana van Zeller. He has also worked with artists such as Mos Def, Death Cab for Cutie, Sígur Ros and The Shins.
