<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: justify; font: 12.0px Garamond"><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px"><i>David Sisco</i> is a multi-faceted artist whose life work centers around exploring music, drama, writing and teaching, finding great inspiration and commonalities in each. David received his BA in vocal performance and composition honors from Syracuse University, and a MM in vocal performance from Boston University School for the Arts. A member of the Dramatist’s Guild and the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop (Advanced), David is a passionate writer for the stage.&nbsp; He is the author of </span><span style="text-decoration: underline ; letter-spacing: 0.0px">Here I Am: A Musical Personal Ad</span><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px">, </span><span style="text-decoration: underline ; letter-spacing: 0.0px">Variations on a Theme of You</span><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px"> and </span><span style="text-decoration: underline ; letter-spacing: 0.0px">Falling to Earth</span><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px"> with collaborator Tom Gualtieri.&nbsp; Gualtieri and Sisco received a grant from the Anna Sosenko Assist Trust in support of their musical, which was developed at the Syracuse University New Play Workshop and received a reading at the York Theatre in New York in September, 2009.&nbsp; His first play </span><span style="text-decoration: underline ; letter-spacing: 0.0px">BAIT</span><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px"> received multiple awards including Best Comedy at the 2006 Columbus National Gay &amp; Lesbian Theater Festival, and has enjoyed further productions at the Left Out Festival in New York and The Philadelphia Gay &amp; Lesbian Theater Festival.&nbsp; Its companion piece, </span><span style="text-decoration: underline ; letter-spacing: 0.0px">SWISH</span><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px">, will premiere next fall in repertory with </span><span style="text-decoration: underline ; letter-spacing: 0.0px">BAIT</span><span style="letter-spacing: 0.0px">.&nbsp; Sisco is also a prolific art song composer.&nbsp; A winner of the 2010 NATS Composition Award, David was a recipient of an Astral Award from the National Endowment for the Advancement of Arts.&nbsp; His entire art song canon can be found on his website www.siscosong.com.&nbsp; As a singer, David feels equally at home as a recitalist, musical theater performer and chorister.&nbsp; Along with Gualtieri, he was a featured speaker and performer at the 2011 NATS/MNTA Conference in Milwaukee.&nbsp; He has taught at Northeastern and Suffolk University in Boston and is currently a professor of voice at Marymount Manhattan College.&nbsp; For more information, please visit www.davdsisco.com.</span></p>
