My previous two 2D documentary films were selected for the Cannes Short Film Corner, and my previous work has been screened at many other festivals.

As well as being a filmmaker I am also a teacher, trainer and researcher in 3D. I am a part-time senior lecturer at Ravensbourne in Broadcasting, and I also run professional training courses. Last year I trained over 100 industry practitioners in 3D production and post-production. I also co-direct the annual 3D Storytelling conference which sees over 500 industry delegates sharing their experiences and learning about the creative possibilities of 3D. I launched the UK’s first MA in 3D Stereoscopic Media at Ravensbourne last year.

3D is a real passion of mine. Ever since I first put two cameras together five years ago I have strongly believed that the creative possibilities of this medium are under-explored. With falling costs for excellent quality 3D production and post-production, now is the time when independent filmmakers such as myself can be taking advantage of this tool and creating innovative and interesting content.
