<p>Shawn W. Manchester is a photographer and make up artist from North Kingstown, Rhode Island. He was born on August 29, 1992. For his entire life, he has been fascinated with the world of cinema, more importantly how to make the magnificent creatures and designs in the films. Shawn has been a special effects make up artist for the past 7 years. He has worked on a variety of projects and continues to build his portfolio. Some works include, Make Up Artist on the film "The Network" by Root Beer Studios, Make Up Artist for Field of Screams in Wakefield, RI, and has done mulitple events for Boston Film Family and Showcase Cinemas in Warwick, RI.</p> <div><span>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Aside from Make Up, Shawn is also a photographer and graphic designer. He has been doing photography for the past 6 years and has loved it. He currently operates Shawn Manchester Photography, where he does anything you can imagine. "I like to bring your imagination into reality" says Shawn.&nbsp; He has done promo work for Root Beer Studios as well as design all the Art for the film from tshirts, posters, dvd covers, web site, you name it and he's done it.&nbsp; Shawn mainly works on a lot of his own projects so build his portfolio in hopes of one day someone noticing him.&nbsp; He has done photography and make up from beauty to gore, making zombies and Frankenstein's monster, or even Dracula. </span></div> <div><span>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Shawn is also the creator and editor of SM Magazine. This magazine features artists, photographers, make up artist, musicians, filmmakers, writers looking to get there work out to the masses. Beginning in October of 2011, Shawn had no idea how large this magazine would grow in such little time. "Every month I get dozens of emails from people wanting to be apart of this and just loving the whole idea about it" says Shawn. "I have seen everything from beginners to professionals weather in the realm of art, photography or make up submit their amazing work" says Shawn. He uses this magazine to promote his talent but loves to include all the other amazing talent that is out there and may seem unnoticed. </span></div> <div><span>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Beside the art, Shawn is an usher and bartender at Showcase Cinemas in Warwick, RI. On his free time he, if he has any, he enjoys hanging out with his friends, playing the drums, or even planning the next big thing. Shawn is friendly and loves meeting new people and always welcomes people to be apart of his shoots. "I know some people only use gorgeous models in their work, but I believe it's how you make them look that makes it beautiful. I take anyone in who wants to try out modeling, whether they are good or not you have to start somewhere." says Shawn.
