<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Luis is a gentleman of 86 years. Native new yorker who is on a fixed income. A few months ago, he was diagnosed as having prostate cancer. Instead of risking and making things worse in his fragile and elderly state, he opted for quality of life. </em><br /> <br /><em> I am his daughter, Catherine. I have been caring for my father. I would like to move him out of New York City and to Arizona, where he would spend what is left of his time someplace beautiful, soothing and healthy. Now more than ever. </em><br /> <br /><em> This past July alone, he was taken to the ER three times and had to have surgery. During his time there, it was also discovered that he had an aortic aneurysm, which is an inflammation of the tube which distributes the blood from the heart throughout the body. Any further inflammation could lead to serious pain and/or heart attack, stroke and basically be fatal. </em><br /> <br /><em> I am here to ask for help. We need to raise the funds to be able to make the move. We are in need of 5k to move him and his belongings (boxes, furniture etc) cross-country. It's very expensive but we are determined to make it happen. I made him a promise and I will not break it.
