As mentioned in the video introduction, I've been writing about art and artists for more than 20 years, mostly for ARTnews and the Wall Street Journal. I'm also the author of the four-volume Schirmer Encyclopedia of Art (Gale Broup, 2001) and earned degrees in art history from Princeton and Columbia. A long-time New Yorker, i relocated to Taos, NM, in 2011.
